I've gone from incredibly skeptical to increasingly hopeful each time I've seen new info on Ninja Theory's upcoming Devil May Cry reboot. Capcom is continuing that trend today with a batch of new screenshots.

In these images, you can see the redesigned Dante facing off against various demonic enemies as well as a wildly transforming city. There's also a shot of Dante using Devil Trigger, a special power that bathes the world in black-and-white and slows time.

Take a look at the screens below and then check out the most recent trailer and Adam's favorable impressions of the game from Gamescom.

Unless you're living under a rock, you've probably seen the new Grand Theft Auto V trailer. Far from being a simple teaser, Rockstar provided an in-depth view of the new city players will descend upon when GTA V releases. There's a lot of detail packed into each shot, so take a look at this massive screen gallery to see the tidbits you may have missed.

Dirty cops, assassins with hearts of gold, international drug-running empires, and above all: revenge. Max Payne 3 is all about shooting dudes who deserve what they have coming to them. Usually in slow motion. More than possibly while diving. Definitely while grimacing. Check out the goods in four new screenshots directly from Rockstar.

Rockstar didn't send along any new info with the screens, but you can get more than you bargained for in Matt's excellent writeup from last month.

Max Payne 3 comes out for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in March of next year.

Old S.T.A.R.S. partners Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield join up to take on monsters and earn new gear in this trailer for Revelation's Raid mode.

In the video below we see the two intrepid exterminators blasting their way through an infested ship. Damage points rattle off of enemies as the duo disperses pain, giving the co-op mode a quasi-Borderlands feel. Upon completing the mission the players are also graded and rewarded with a batch of upgrades, which could be just the hook that Resident Evil fans need to keep coming back to Raid mode.

Rumors of a multiplayer mode had been swirling around Mass Effect 3 since its announcement, but EA and BioWare finally made it official. The series’ third entry will have a separate co-op mode that allows you to play alongside your friends – an addition that may raise some doubts among Mass Effect’s legion of single-player fans. If you haven't seen it yet, you should catch up by checking out the co-op reveal trailer.

Max is back. It feels good to type those words, especially in light of how long Rockstar went dark on Max Payne 3 following our cover story. The dormant period even caused some to speculate that the game was destined for development hell. Fear not, readers – Max Payne 3 is real, and I’ve seen it being played thanks to a recent Rockstar demo session. Not only is it real, it’s shaping up to be one of my most anticipated titles of next year.

Online multiplayer games have evolved considerably over the past decade, but if you prefer your shooters the old fashioned way, GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is for you.

If you weren't lucky enough to experience the first-person shooter revolution on PCs, chances are your first experience behind the barrel of the gun was GoldenEye on the N64. The game's split-screen multiplayer dominated dorm rooms during that era, and Activision hopes to tap into that nostalgic vein with this HD remake that ditches Pierce Brosnan in favor of the current Bond, Daniel Craig.

Weapon Progression Detailed For Modern Warfare 3
The soon-to-release Call of Duty sequel has a brand new approach to weapon upgrades, and the development team wants to tell you about it in this new video.

For many players, the holiday season of gaming is virtually defined by the release of a new Call of Duty game. Whether you count yourself in that crowd or not, there's some new features on the way to multiplayer that might tweak your interest.

The developers at Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer put together this new video that explains the advances. In short, in addition to the existing weapon upgrade system, you'll unlock weapon proficiencies to further customize the way your gun handles.

Battlefield players have long been able to keep track of their in-game statistics through a connected web interface, and Battlefield 3 is no different. As DICE tells it, the new Battlelog network offers players a wealth of social networking features at no additional cost.

The developers provide a guided tour of some of Battlelog's functionality in the clip below. Battlelog allows players to chat in real time with one another, giving remorseless gloaters yet another tool in their psy-ops kit. In addition to monitoring your own stats and career progression, you can check out how your friends are doing in the game. Leaderboards can be sorted by friends as well, giving run-of-the-mill soldiers a chance to at least show their dominance among their buddies.
