Hammerpoint's online multiplayer zombie survival game is out of beta, and now available on Steam. According to Hammerpoint's press release, The War Z has over 600,000 registered users, and usually logs 150,000 unique players per day.

The game had been previously available on a beta, but this version on Steam is being called a "Foundation Release" -- which means that it's improved over the beta but will still be added to and enhanced in the months to come.

Mass Effect 3 was at the forefront of our minds as we here in the Gamers Voice office debated the greatest games of the year. Putting the bookend on one of the most influential series of this generation, BioWare's third chapter was a massive achievement that earned our highest praise. With one of the most controversial endings of all time , the game gave the gaming industry a lot to discuss.

Dark Souls II director Tomohiro Shibuya upset some Dark Souls fans by saying that the sequel will be "more understandable," but more light has been shed on that conversation. 

“Accessibility to players who haven’t picked up Dark Souls is definitely a key topic,” Shibuya toldEdge in an upcoming cover story. “Right in the beginning when players first pick up the game is something that I will definitely focus on. To not immediately throw them into Dark Souls but provide a good introduction in terms of what the game’s about and how the game should be played."

A squad-based first-person shooter in which the player controls four Colonial Marines, each with a different personality and primary weapon. Each player character can carry additional weapons including a flamethrower, pulse rifle, smartgun, pistol, RPG, and many types of grenades.
The player controls one marine at a time, issues orders to the others using context-sensitive commands, and may switch between characters at any time. The player will also occasionally be required to control a particular location, using tactical positioning and turrets to fend off attacks. Unlike many other first-person shooter games, Aliens: Colonial Marines will have no HUD to provide the player with onscreen information.
The primary enemies of the game are Aliens which will generally 

7 distinctive gameplay styles: from knight, serving a Noble House, to grifter, preying on greed and gullibility.
23 skills, ranging from Dagger and Critical Strike to Disguise and Persuasion to Crafting and Lore.
Action Point-based combat system, featuring a flexible set of standard attacks, special attacks such as whirlwind and impale, and aimed attacks at different body parts.
8 weapon types: daggers, swords, axes, hammers, spears, bows, crossbows, throwing weapons, each with individual traits.
Non-combat quest resolutions and a well-developed diplomatic path ( "The best weapon against an enemy is another enemy." )..." 

As a true sequel, this game moves the battle away from the common Western Front focus of World War II and refocuses on some of history’s most brutal and devastating conflicts on the Eastern Front, challenging players to take command of the iconic Red Army and repel the Nazi invaders from the very gates of Moscow.

EA president Frank Gibeau said, during a keynote speech at the University of Southern California There is going to be a Battlefield 4.
