After what seems like eons of waiting, Rockstar has finally given Max Payne 3 a release window. It may not be a precise release date, but at least we now have an idea of when Rockstar hopes to have it out. The Max Payne news doesn’t end there, though, so head past the break to get all the details.
So, for starters, Max Payne 3 will be hitting shelves sometime March 2012, at least that’s whatRockstar is shooting for. Max will find himself in São Paulo, Brazil in this third installment, but other than that, Rockstar decided to keep a lid on the details. Oh, Max Payne 3 will also have a multiplayer mode when it arrives. So… good! Right?
In related news, Rockstar also announced that they’ll be bringing the original Max Payne to mobile devices. Rockstar says that this mobile version of Max Payne will support connectivity with the Rockstar Social Club, will “boast the same features as its PC counterparts,” and will even come complete with a fresh coat of HD paint. Rockstar didn’t divulge what mobile devices they’re planning a release on, nor did they give us any idea of when it would be out.
